I love your natural hair and the pony looks great on you! (I wouldn't have known if you didnt say it) Beautiful.

That phony looks great. It looks your real hair. Can you describe step by step how you did it?

I was waiting for her to respond, but I can explain what I did when I wore weave tracts as ponytails and perhaps Ayeisha will explain later. Start with gathering your own hair into a ponytail. Slick down the front using products that work for you. Once you gather your hair into a ponytail, you can choose to protect your own hair by putting conditioner/vaseline on the length of your own ponytail then pinning it under into a bun; then putting a baggie on your hair bun. This keeps in moisture and helps to protect your hair ends. You can cover your baggie with a nylon sock or some other type of soft fabric so as not to see the baggie. Then take one end of your weave tract of hair and pin it as close as you can to your ponytail. You can start in the front or back, but I started in the back. Secure this with one or two bobby pins. Then take the rest of your weave hair and continue to wrap it all around your own ponytail which acts as the base. When you get to the end of weave tract hair, secure it with one or two more bobby pins. Fluff up a bit and make sure that your own ponytail is not showing. I use to bend over when I did mine because i used 18" of bodywave hair and it was long. You can go to dontspeakdefeat's hair album and look for "how to's" for the baggie technique as well as adrienne0914 hair album she explains how to bun your hair using a drawstring phony. Just go to members list and look for their hair albums. I hope this helps!
