i was thinking of finally ordering a phony tail but i am still curious on to how it would look once i received it. for those of you who already own one is it similar to the drawstring ponytail? how is it that they make it look somewhat like it is your own with the barrette? how is it exactly attached. sorry about all the questions i'm trying to make sure that i get my money's worth. thanks for taking the time out to read this.

You want believe it but I just ordered one today and I had several questions for them as well!

The customer service is fantastic and they responded very quickly to my emails!

I've never worn a ponytail and I'm wearing one for protecting my hair (Adrienne's method) but will be wearing it in the bun!

Since I have a texturizer, I wanted a texture that was wavy and and not super shiny. Ginny, emailed me and told me that she could send me three samples for free!

Call or email them with questions and tell them about this site!

I ordered the Jerry Curl 12" with the tortoise barrette!

As soon as I get mine, I will post!

I've never tried this phony pony dot com but I think I'll give it a try and get back to you. Good question about the barette... perhaps they are glued on? that's my take... I don't think you could do it any other way. Anyway thanks for your thread. HHG

I think you clip it around you ponytail . they are so pretty to me and I did the drawstring pontail for like 2 yr and ohhhhhh i got so much lenght if it wasnt for to big cuts from scissor happy stylist my hair would be waist lenght, I know. But anyhoo I am going to email them I think the barretts are looped if so that not too bad I dont think. I dunno but I was like you at first glance of the web sight. I didnt like the sound of the clip thing.
I love drawstrings. I would never use one of those claws either.

I just email the company and asked if the barrettes were like the first or second image back I dont think the barrett in the first image would break you hair off. But to clip the barrett at the top you you ponytail, I think will break your hair off.Which you would clearly have to do with the 2nd image

interesting, I might get one too. Wavy/curly newgrowth and straight ends look a little.... bad.
