Well i just got a fullhead weave yesterday and I told my hairdresser that I wont be putting perm in my hair for 2 more years while I grow it out. (my last relaxer was in November).
He only gave me a texturizer on very minimal sections of hair that will be exposed (baby hair) and the rest of my hair was all weaved up. I'll send u some pics if u like. It looks really nice and natural.

Oh by the way, if u really dont want a perm whatsoever in ur hair, he also gave me the option of pressing the exposed hair, or using heat. But i would have to come back eve bbry so often (maybe 3 weeks or so) 2 get that area repressed or starightened.So thats when i figured I'll go 4 the relaxer.
