I was thinking about stretching for another 3 months making it a 6 month stretch. I wanted to perm the nape and leave the rest of my hair. Has anyone done that before?

I have..no too often, actually it's been years..but I used to relax the whole perimeter of my hairline (front edges & kitchen) with no adverse effects.

My stylist did this twice once in august and then again in Nov. so far no problem helped me stretch. Do a search I think its called a halo some ladies posted about it a few weeks back.

Thank you very much for that hint, because I was looking for it....

I do this when I am in the middle of my stretch. I do a halo perm and it helps me to stretch much longer.

See I am already 16 weeks post relaxer and I have 19 days left until the next relaxer. I wonder if I can make it 3 more months, that would be 7 months not 6 months no relaxer (I just counted it out). I don't know.
