Hey ladies, just wondering, what element is missing that would really set off your regimine? Is it a product, a vitamins, a technique? Are you looking for the right conditioner or trying to balance CO washes with your regular styles? for me, im trying to figure out how often to shampoo and deep condition. I'd also like to CO twice a week but i need to manipulate my hair less...

just wondering and maybe we;d have helpful suggestions for each other.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

Lets see...

I need to find a way to make a 'major' wash day time efficient and less frustrating. My hair turns out really nice when I take the time to pretreat, deep condition, and rollerset, but it also takes HOURS (because I'm pretty poor at rollerseting). If I could figure out a way to do it in less time I would do it more often.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I need to work on ways to detangle and stop breakage. That's my two biggest issues right now. Everything else is going great - vitamins, stretching my relaxer, moisturizing etc. The detangling is a monster and I'm losing too much hair.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

Nothing, really!! I have a regimen that has been working just fine for me!!

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I need to work on my rollersetting skills because they are seriously lacking and also im working my spit ends but I have sneaking suspicion that my stylist may be part uof the problem (her scissors i dont think are sharp.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I'm yet to find the perfect products. Nothing has wowed me yet. I also need to learn how to wrap my neck-length hair. Any suggestions?

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

My regimen is working for the most part but I would like to perfect flatironing so that I don't have to rely on a salon to get salon-quality results!

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

My styling over all could use improving and I need to figure out how to get my big head and big rollers in my pibbs properly so that it can dry quickly.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I would have to agree with the whole rollersetting thing. Im getting much better except the top of my head (where most of the new growth is) is always poofy! Im working on that though!

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I like my regimen, however, since I do it every 3 days, I would LOVE to be able to do it less time.

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I like my regimen also. I am just looking for the perfect daily moisturizer. Now Im just using up old stuff. I plan to go shopping this afternoon. Im at the point now where I just want to have everything perfect, no more experincing..

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I have one piece of hair that is always dry. The rest stays moisturized. If I could get that one piece of hair to blend in with the rest...I would be happy!

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I'd like to completely eliminate the frizz that has taken over my hair the past 3 months. Not sure how to accomplish this...

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I'll achieve hair nirvana when I can

1. effectively manage my new growth past week 5 past touchup
2. rollerset my own hair for those occassions when I want to wear it straight
3. relax my own hair with appropriate timing and smoothing.

At this point, the challenge is less about finding good products and more about developing healthy techniques...

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I need a good protein product to stop my breakage and put some life back in my hair. Investing in rollersetting tools will be a good idea also. Oh! And a good moisturizing conditioner

Re: PERFECTING YOUR REGIMINE!

I'd like to perfect different styles such as flattwists and cornrows. Sooner or later I will be tired of the classic puff!

Also I want a good deep conditioner.
