People who texlax or texturize....

Did you have to cut off your straighter relaxed ends? Can you please also state your hair type and what hair type you texturized to.
 
You don't have too since if they will gradually get cut off when you trim. It really would depend on how long your straight hair was and how much you texlax by. For me, I can't tell a difference once I rollerset it. When it is wet though, you can tell my end are much straigther than the rest of my hair.
 
I gradually cut mine ends off until the last 1 1/2 inch. I just chopped that off. I couldn't wait any longer. My wash n go's definitely look much better without those straight ends. But, of course, it depends on what look you are going for.
