OK I just relize that all of you have beautiful hair. But one thing...How to get that soft and combable hair!!! You know like the beatucian sytle. What is you secret for conditioning and plan washing hair. I can't neither get it right. When getting my hair relax. I was happy. When time to condtiong it. It did't turn out like just walking out the salon look. CAN you give out your quick hair regime for soft non dry hair.

I've never been able to replicate that 'just stepped out of a salon' look. Its just something the stylist does and the way they do it that for me can't be duplicated.

And I certainly can't do rollarsets like Dominican salons. The key though for bouncy soft hair is a good deep conditioning with a fave. moisturizing conditioner, some leave in and a good tight neat rollarset (do a search on Amillion's rollarset guide which is brilliant. Also closely watch how Domican salons do it) and wrap the hair once dry. That is the only thing I can do to help the hair come out soft.

But to get that ultra 'bling' its got to be your fave stylist.

Speaking of feature of the month (even though I'm not natural) I'd like to see more natural type 4/afro hair as feature of the month, like Den1, Justice4lw, seoul etc.

I don't feel natural women on this board have been represented in that section of the board yet.

One of the problems with the feature of the month is that we have to pick from pictures already posted. (So please ladies, post your pictures so that we can all see them!)

Also we have asked a number of people and some have declined to be featured for different reasons. There was a time when the feature of the month was close to being put on hold for lack of willing members. The feature of the month is chosen several months ahead of time, so if you haven't seen someone you think needs to be featured, wait a bit and it will happen. The forum wants everyone represented, natural or relaxed, but it would be great to have more people willing to post their pictures. If the majority of ladies posting pictures are relaxed, then the odds are even greater that there will be more relaxed women featured than naturals. One more thing, some members do not log onto the forum regularly, so sometimes they're not even aware that we've asked them to be featured for a certain month.

Picturetrail or a yahoo account is fine. That's usually how most of the pictures get seen. Just add a link to your picture album in your signature or profile so that Beverly can see it.

No, pictures aren't mailed in. Every featured person is found from pictures already posted on the forum in threads or in different online photo albums.
