I've read a lot about both of these lines. I'm looking for something that will really help me get through my new growth. I've got one wk to go until my touchup, but ladies it is really rough, I tried the MNT detangler and Qhemet's detangling cream and my hair thought it was a joke. Should I give one of these lines a try? What are your experiences? Do either of them provide moisture? Do you think they will help me get through my hair?

I've been using the Paul Mitchell Skinny line since May/June 2005. I really like it. I haven't tried the Matrix Sleek Look line. So, I can't compare the two.

I haven't tried the matrix, but I absolutely love the way my hair feels after shampooing and conditioning with the skinny line. It will definitely help with newgrowth detangling!

I use the generic Matrix Sleek Look (from Sally's) when i'm about 11 weeks post relaxer because my new growth is almost unbearable at this point. It gets my new growth softer and smoother and it is moisturizing. HTH

I like the super skinny conditioner but I fell like it doesn't moisturize me enough sometimes. For detangling though it takes the cake. The matrix line looks REALLY good. I see they have a daily conditioner, a deep moisturizing one, and a reconstructor in the line. I new a girl who used it and her hair always looked great and withstood some serious color changes. I also like the fact they have black models on their site.

I  the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Line:D It's The Best!It always got me through my stretches and helped with detangling and moisture.I switched to organic products and that's the only reason I stopped using it but other than that it gets:up:     thumbs up:)

Is it true that The Paul Mitchell Skinny line is full of cones? I think I remember someone here saying it was. I really wanna try it, though.

The products contain cones.

:bump::bump: For more responses! I know this thread is really old but I just ran across this line at Harmon's (Matrix). Has anyone else tried it to compare it to Paul Mitchell? I like the look of their flat iron spray bcause it actually lists a temparture that it protects up to. I'm thinking of trying their Iron Smoother and Serum. Anyone?
