I just got a bottle of PM's Foaming Pommade today and was reading some old threads about the product...both natural's and relaxed ladies used it. Since I'm relaxed, I'm wondering in which ways I could effectively use it, especially in wash n' go's ...(I've never done one...:ohwell::look:) since I saw that a couple of ladies that are/were relaxed used it for that as well. Any help--suggestions, tips, etc. would be GREAT! Thank you in advance!

I am Relaxed. And Used it back in the day. I always thought it was a "decent" product for keeping your hair nice & bouncy.:yep: You only need a little dab. It feels very lightweight. However, too much will definitely cause build up.

I haven't used it in Years. I know I heard alot of people say the ingredients are questionable. But Overall, I think it worked well.

You have to shake well.

It kind of reminds me of Sebastian Potion 9 or Phyto 7 and/or 9. If you are familiar with their consistency.

Yeah, I believe it has mineral oil?? (I dont have the bottle on me) But over 95% of the products that I use are mineral oil free, and I don't intend on using this too often, so I'm hoping it wont cause too much or any build up. =]

It is very Lightweight. When I was going to this White Salon, after the Flat Iron, he would apply no more than a dime sized amount to give hair that extra movement. It worked like a "dream" They swore by it. It gave it shine, bounce and movement.

But, it looks/feels so light, (and Whippy) like complete nothingness, so it is easy to let it get away from you. And you think you need more than you really do.:look:

On top of that, I am extremely Heavy-Handed with product.

I use it a dab at a time when I separate the curls from a flexirod set. I also it on my DD's length when I twist her hair. I wouldn't use it on straight hair though, it seems kind of oily if you use too much. A dab will do ya!
