These two ingredients are in ORS Jojoba Oil Maximum Shine Hair& Scalp Moisturizer. Are these two ingredients basically harmless? I'm not sure about the Paraffin, but I read that the 2nd one i mentioned can cause dermatitis.

I hate throwing things away, so I was going to mix this with olive oil + shea butter + cocobutter + rosemary oil and use it on my newgrowth. This stuff has been sitting here for months, so ... !

ANY COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS OR ADVICE ARE WELCOMED!!!!

I did some research on Propylparaben and came up with nothing except one site that said it was a food-grade preservative used in many natural haircare products. Don't throw it away. If you're really scared about using on your scalp, then avoid that area and use it as an ends treatment or something. HTH

Thanks Miss J ... I may let my creative juices go wild in the kitchen and mix it with some other ingredients. It's always interesting to see how these things work out!!!

Just playing, I know that was a typo. Ballet_bun, I believe parrafin in a petroleum derivative.

opps ... Guess I had someone else on my mind when I wrote Miss Brown. Miss J ... sorry about that! Thanks Soulchild(did I get this one right ...lol)! I guess I'll have to do some more research on this. I guess in the meantime, I'll just have some fun in the kitchen!
