Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

YES! It is my favorite setting lotion. It doesn't make the hair hard at all & I even use it as a leave-in when I'm not setting my hair.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

If you are referring to Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural Wrap and Set Lotion, then I really like the way it performs on my hair. I have been using it since it came out. The best setting lotion I have used, and I have used many. I use when I wet and dry roller set.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

I like it as a leave-in when I'm wearing my hair curly. I tried it with a roller-set and it left my hair "greasy looking" and stiff.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

It doesn't leave the hair greasy or hard...hmmm...maybe I'll put it on my wish list

Hey Crysdon, what's your regimen for your curly do? My hair only curls with gel, and I'm trying to find other ways to get around using it.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

Hey Karonica,

For my curly do, I always do a conditioner wash, squeeze excess water (never towel dry), apply a moisturizer (either Mango Butter - I know you hate it

, HB Carrot Oil Creme, or HB Olive Oil Creme), spray a good leave-in (Elasta QP H-Two, or the Pantene setting/wrapping lotion) and let it airdry.

Is your hair relaxed straight? That may be the reason why you have to use gel.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

My hair is a chitty mess. The ends are straight, some parts in the middle are really curly, and the hair near the roots have a looser curl. Good gawd.

My waves/curls are never uniformed the same, but after scrunching enough, I get enough pattern to wear it out in the streets without looking too retarded.

And you know I hate me some Mango Butter!

But thanks for the info.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

I didn't really care for it.

It left my hair with a kind of stiff and grimy feel to it.

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

Thanks for starting this post! I've been looking for a good setting lotion without paying 11.60 for the keracare. How much is this one?

Re: pantene\'s setting/wrapping lotion

No prob.

I'm going to purchase this one, hopefully this week or next week, and I'll let you know about it. The Black-n-Sassy Bouncy creme is just a bit too heavy or something. I mainly want to try the Pantene for scrunching.
