Okay, please don't just lurk here. Find anyone who has used this treatment and get them in here. I did a search and found that people were going to try this out, back in 2006...what happened. Were you consistent, did it work out well? Also, why isn't it available in U.S, or is it and I just don't know where. Thanks so much!

Bumping. Come on everyone. I should be doing my paper right now, but I'm anxious for your responses...okay I'm also procrastinating but any answers would be nice.

I just read the old thread from 2006 also. searched all over the internet to find it and didn't find a place that shipped to the US.

PALTAS is the truth, used it when i was little applied it to the scalp it makes the hair sooo soft and managable.
I havent used it in forever but im currently at my moms house and she is a paltas addict so ill be using it while im here maybe even take the bottle back home with me to the states (she lives in sweden). ¨
if you guys find it or see it in your BBS try it out, i really like it.

Im going to use it for sometime then post a reveiw. :)

I just made a post in another thread on this product. As a child, my hair looooved it! But unfortunately I stopped using it because of how greasy it is. I have decided I will start using it again on my 4b tresses. I am from the UK though.

I bought it on Ebay a couple of months ago (relatively cheap and fast delivery), Haven't tried it yet, I have way too many products to go thru.

OP is talking about this:

I used to use it. I think I still have a bottle. This was back when I was in high school and when I had a perm. It made my afro soft and shiny and made my new growth soft and manageable.

Back when I used it, it was believed to make your hair grow. It gave you the tingles. I knew very little about haircare and used to comb my hair dry and not worry about pieces breaking all over the place, so no idea if I would've reached the lengths I reached when I later learned good haircare had I known them then.

It was very greasy but because I've been baggying since time immemorial, I didn't need to wrap my hair with a towel as the instructions say to in order to protect my pillow. I think they also suggest you wash off in the AM, but I didn't.

In Kenya, we had an imitation of it call Pallitas. Was cheaper and seemed to give me the same results.

I have a friend that used to use it to make her hair thicker. I thought it was too gooey/greasy and the smell was kinda strong (medicinal/ mentholish? kind of smell if I remember properly)
