I have never heard of this. I did a google image search, and it looks like plain ole twists to me. I didn't look for any other info besides that.

i heard of this but its to start dreadlocks. is that what u want or are they twists with extensions??

I saw a lady with twists and asked her what they were called because they look so nice. She said they were called palm twists. They actually look like small nubian or spring twists.

She also had extensions added to her hair.
