Palm Rolls

Hello. Does anyone know of a great way to do palm rolls? I have tried and tried to find directions for them but everytime i try them it is not right. Only way i have not tried is where you are to put clips on them to hold them down. I thought i could get away with it just fine w/o that. My coils dont stay flat str8 they curl upward which is kinda ok cause i have an automatic curly style with it. :^D. But some of my hair has puff in it and i keep trying to palm roll it but its not staying down. :S

What is a palm roll??? Never heard of it???

Palm rolls, hand rolls, is a style where you take a section of your hair and then put some gel, and/or beeswax or some kind of grease on your hair and you take that section and put it in between your hands(as if you are praying) and roll it one way(one hand goes up the other goes down) My problem is that i cant seem to get it neat at all :^S
