Nyree, I went to see Shavon today and I was really impressed with our consultation. He was very easy to get along with and had a really nice attitude! I felt so comfy around him, he was soo soo nice and knew what he was talking about. He knew about the no poo washes and the deep treatments etc and hair texture and density...I can truely say that I will definately go to him because he is nice and I have the fullest confidence that he will do a great job. BTW his hair was nice and healthy too...that's important to me because I see too many hair stylists with "false" or "jacked the

up hair!" He is reasonable too and professional...thanks for putting his name out there cause I am definately getting my hair did in May by him. BTW what's your hair texture, he said that we had similar textures only my hair is very Dense, not thick like most would have guessed...(he hooked me on that one) and he said that there was no need to trim an inch like I taught maybe just a 1/4-1/2 inch...Needless to say I am on cloud nine! VERY IMPRESSIVE, I will post pics when I get it done to show ya'll results.

I am soooo happy that you had a good consultation. I was impressed with him myself and I'm supposed to be seeing him on Fri or Sat for the texturizer. Are you completely natural?? I am transitioning so I still have relaxed ends. I am a 4a with mixes of 3c I think

I am actually reconsidering the texturizer and might have him do just a blowout to see how straight my roots will get on their own. I have about 4-5 inches of new growth but I've realized that I'll have a major shrinkage issue because after I wash, it looks like 2-3 inches unless I stretch it out. I will post pics also.

same here, my hair is relaxed on the ends and I have about 4-5 inches of new growth, I taught I had only 3 inches but when he examined my hair he said that I had more (YES), because of tight funds right now I am going to have to wait until May to get my stuff done. But I am very happy and excited and can't wait!

Very nice hair sweettrini, nice lenght and it looks nice and thick too. I will try and post one of my pictures soon. I know that you said that you might get it texturized this weekend, good luck girl and let me know how it goes.

Alli,
I ended having to go into work last minute to cover for one of my staff members who called out sick. So I never did make it to my appt with Shavon but I didn't want Easter Sunday to meet me in yet another bun so I went to a Dominican salon around the corner from my job to get that blowout. I'm still on the fence regarding the wash and wear. The roots are puffy already though

Please post pics soon.
