Hi NAPPtural!!
It was the BOMB BIDDY!! This will definitely be a part of my beauty regime for life....a minimum of one steam treatment a week.
I think I put too much stuff in my henna paste(too runny), but it still turned out good....my hair was slicked back, flat to my head, like I had a relaxer, but more texture returned as it dried....I'll post the rest on the henna thread.....
About the steamer, CHILE I thought I died and went to heaven!
My steamer has a 30 minute timer and I found myself wanting it to go on and on like the energizer bunny! Someone mentioned it's like the steam room at the health club...yes, that's true....but now the steam room is IN MY HOUSE when I want to use it...
I also ordered up some goodies awhile back from FNWL and slathered my hands and feet with a mixture of Shealoe butter and Avocado butter and put on the heated mitts and booties (while my hair and face were steamin...). There's not a gremlin with a smile wide enough to describe how I felt...
Suffice to say, after a relaxing salt rub and shower
, followed by a manicure(hand spa), pedicure(foot spa) and facial, I was TOO pampered for words. Mario Triccoci's got NOTHING on me!!( cept for the massages...and I'm working on that...HA! HA!) All in all it was a very, VERY relaxing time....
In the beginning of this thread, I thought you all were referring to the Caruso steam rollers or the table top facial steamers(Duh!)....but know I know better.
There's no gremlin with wine glasses....so here goes... cheers
to all the HARD-WORKING sisters out there who need to take time out to re-juvenate, re-balance and re-build themselves. Thanks for sharing....
