Honey, I dont mean to single you out like this but your hair is absolutely beautiful, it is soooo shiny and healthy looking. I was looking at some of the products at your link and was wondering just how do you apply the Healthy hair butter to your new growth? Do you section your hair into many parts? I ask this because recently my hair started to shed more than usual. At first I felt like my new growth was so soft, there didnt seem to be much of a texture difference between it and my relaxed hair so I wouldnt have to worry too much about demarcation breakage....WRONG. Then it dawned on my that maybe I dont moisturize my new growth properly and maybe I shouldnt be wetting it in the shower everyday cause it's probably making it soft and weak. Or is this just something that's bound to happen as one transitions... Sorry for the rambling, thanx in advance for any answer you can give.

Hey Dahlia,

After I detangle my hair, I fingerpart in sections and apply the healthy hair butter. I usually apply it to hair avoiding the scalp down to the demarcation line. I've found it's easier to spread out the hhb if it is not directly from the fridge.

I only wet my hair twice a week. A no-poo wash on Wednesdays and a shampoo/deep condition on Sundays. Any more than that and I'd probably lose more hair just from the extra combing.

Oh....thank you so much for the compliments!
