I'm another fan brownrelaxedhair. In that pic of you as the feature of the month, is your hair rollerset and wrapped? If so, is it freshly so or has it been a few days? I was wondering because I wanna know how to keep those little waves at the ends like the pic. Straight mostly, but with a little wave at the end. Thanks!

I'm so airy - I just noticed your feature on the Home page. Have you made any changes or is your routine about the same?
Still would like to know if you have a favored Dominican salon for wash and sets...

In the bottom pic of me from behind my hair was done just done that day after a touch up. They used cool setting blow dryer and curling irons. (That stylist is the only one I trust to use them). After a few days of wrapping, that curl on the ends goes away and its just straight really.

Hope this helps!

My regime hasn't changed too much from whats posted on the features page. I am using Aubrey Organics GPB more for conditioner washes. My hair looks better with this and feels better too. I use the Elucence as a leave in instead on wet hair plus s-curl before doing the 2 pigtails or bun.

I've slacked on the vitamins. Haven't taken biotin of a good 3 weeks now. Just laziness more than anything.

Salon wise, I haven't found a staple in Manhattan yet. I have gone to one though that I like by a lady called Miguelina on 1st betw. 88 and 89th. She's lovely and does a stellar job. I have a teeny mother and daughter Dominican salon approx 5 mins walk from my home which I go to occasionally. They are good and of course, do a much better rollar set job than I can.

I think I'll visit Miguelina.

As for the vitamins - try the Ultra Thick Hair Shake Tracy has written about. I picked it up on sale at Vitamin Shoppe and it really does taste good. Ignorance is bliss because I haven't read the ingredients (better not to probably)and it's working for me so far. Another tip: It says No Blender required - but use a blender if you don't want sludge in your glass...
