! Viewing your album made me very glad that I have started to transition

. I know that you wrote that you have a texturizer in your hair but my hair mimics your hair exactly.

Could you please tell me how you achieved your straight styles? Thanks.

Hi Chichi. I'm flattered that you like my hair. I feel self-conscious about it sometimes, so you really made me happy. I hope your transition to natural hair is coming along with good results.

I've just recently started rollersetting my hair after more than a year and that's how I get my hair straight. I've used flat irons and curling irons before, but they don't really work that well. They only fry my hair. I just roller set and go over my roots with a curling iron. I like my hair to be big and bouncy like Blair from "The Facts of Life" and rollersets help me to get that look.

I think there's one picture in my album where my hair is straight and short. I had went to the hairdresser to get the relaxed ends cut off, so that is all my natural hair. I have a lot of old hair pictures (relaxed, transition, natural, texturized) that I need to sort through and put in my album.

Thanks for posting your regime Blue_Flower. I didn't know that a rollerset could do that on natural hair. I thought that you were using a flatiron or pressing comb so this is good to know

I also like Blair's hair from the Facts of Life and think that your hair matches that and it also reminded me of those Breck or Prell commercials.

Absolutely beautiful !!!!!!!!

Curious, in the 1 pic, u mentioned that ur hair matted & tangled... when this happens what steps do u take to detangle?

Thanks, everybody! You have me blushing.

Chichi: In the December album my hair is texturized, so that's how the rollerset came out straight. It was only the roots that still came out wavy because of new growth and I had to use a curling iron over them. I never rollersetted my natural hair because it would've been too much work and it wouldn't have turned out right. In the Natural album there is a pic of me with my natural hair straightened. In fact, the curling iron (Conair Steam Iron) I used is shown in the pic too. I got that kind of curling iron because I think Asha and YanteCoi use one to straighten their natural hair with.

I think somewhere I mentioned that my hair still looks natural even though it's texturized. I don't want to confuse anyone; my hair is texturized. If I ever decide to go back to natural hair, it wouldn't be too hard.

Peachtree: I can only put my hair in a style if it's wet (except if I had my hair in a rollerset). Once my hair dries it shrinks and puffs. It's impossible to do anything to my hair then. In the matted picture I had to rinse my hair again the next day. I knew I had a lot of tangles, so I used my hands first and then a comb.

I'm glad that all of you like my hair. When the weather gets warmer I'm going to go to the hairdresser and get a press n' curl. At least when I get my hair really straight, I'll be able to see the true length of my hair. I'll surely post pics.
