I have the hair at home, but Lord knows I really can't afford to be getting them professionally done, considering school starts in 2 weeks and I need book money.

Have any of you ever done your own? Is it easy to do? Tips? Help?

Also, can you recommend any books to me about sewing in weaves, braids, etc.

Thanks,

My recommendation, do a partial weave or a weave that will not stress the hair line. Braid down your base and sew a net to the base. When sewing the weave use a loop knotting method.

I find that all weaves, regardless are somewhat damaging to the hair.

So, does this mean that I will be sewing through the net?

I'll be back on Thursday. Have fun everyone!
