I came home the other day from work to find that my mon had made my aunt applied a relaxer for her. When I walked into the kitchen, I found my karecare shampoo, some conditioners, leave-in's and a list of other products all over the kitchen table. I was like

and

. When I picked up the karacare shampoo it felt like it was more then half finished and I just bought it.

o.k., I'm not a stingy person and I don't mind sharing but the point is I feel like they wasted some of my products because they didn't know the proper way to use it.
for example my aunt said to me that shampoo is no good cause you have to use a lot to get a good lather out of it. I was like actually that's what makes it a good shampoo because it doesn't lather a lot and strip the hair! then I asked her how long she kept the humecto in for, she told me she applied it and rinsed it right out!

I just feel like if you're going to use my expensive products, use it right and get the full benefits!

at that moment I just wanted to take all my products and hide them somewhere nobody but me could get through.
I felt kind of ashamed at myself at the the thought but am I the only one that's "over protective" of my hair products?

My expensive hair products are off limits. My other drugstore stuff I am more than willing to share, cause its cheap and easy to replace.

When my family visits, they "just happen" to show up with empty travel sized bottles.

I hide the really good and expensive stuff.

i'm the same way. i remember i came home one day and found my mom had washed her hair and dang near lost my mind.i usually wash her hair for her but i was late coming back from class so she took it upon herself to do it and used my good expensive products. and i know she was just a slathering it on cause it was a new bottle and by the time she was done almost half was gone.

I feel the same way, but only when I'm not the one applying the product. For instance, my one friend - who knows nothing about haircare - is always using up my stuff because she's too lazy to get her own. To make matters worse, she never knows how to apply anything, so she just slathers the entire bottle on her hair when it really only took 1/10 of that amount to do the job.

Talk about frustrating...

Y'all got me rolling. I usually leave whatever shampoo and conditioner I use most often in the shower on the floor. Well one day I walked in on my husband taking a shower and washing his hair with my Elucence MB and i was like

. My beloved Kenra was sitting in the corner on the floor and I said, umm, you don't use that one do you? You better not be. He just started laughing. So now I have to put my good stuff in the closet and put out some CON so he can use that

This is a funny post. My husband and son always ask, "what can we have from the reject pile?"

this post is too funny! My mom and I are using the same products (I finally got her off of the Pantene). When she is using them, I'm usually right behind her...watching like a tiger.. .making sure she doesn't use too much of my stuff! I feel you on this one! A little goes a long way....and she uses wayyy too much. Don't feel too bad!

wow, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that feels that way. n-e-ways, I've already transffered the good stuff a.k.a. expensive stuff out of the bathroom and to the back( way back) of one of my drawers.

but now that you guys know my secret, no you can't come over.

I am overprotective of my expensive stuff too.I give my bf all my rejects.
Today he ran out of shampoo and I told him I could use one of my (reject) shampoos.I was napping when he came to get it and was still like "Not Therappe" just to make sure.He was like"I know.I can't touch Therappe unless I want to wake up without a penis tomorrow"
