Ovation Cell Therapy or Megatek ??

Which do you prefer and why?

The theory with the two is that with Megatek = thickness then length, Ovation = length then thickness. I have the Megatek as I would like to gain thickness. I have used it since September and my hair is substantially stronger and getting thicker. I am thinking about getting the Ovation and using it after I use up the Megatek. Going forward - either one of these will be my protein conditioner from now on!

There is so much info on the board about these two and different ways of using them -enter Megatek, MT, Ovation or OCT in the search engine and the information will be overwhelming...

For me, MegaTek is a winner due to its price and accessibility.

I use both. I can definitely see a difference with using both. My bun is thicker; and I'm a seeing a slow progression with the length; not a huge growth spurt like I was expecting, but it is longer and stronger and definitely thicker.

I choose MT because it is not as expensive as Ovation.

I've been using them since September. I feel as if I've had over an inch maybe in the three months I've been using it. I will update my fotki on Tuesday evening probably so I can see the length comparison.

I've also been transitioning so my roots are not the same texture (sometimes when I flat iron, I get lazy and start half a**ing it). So it may be hard for me to get a REAL comparison.

I do the ovation because it seems easier for me to do right now. I don't have to mix it with anything and the creme rinse in the system is the thing formulated to go with it. I don't have to figure out what conditioner to use. My hair seems to remains balanced between moisture and protein.

OT- boy are my nails getting strong, especially on the hand I put in my hair more often

However, Mega Tek is much less money and you will get excellent results with it.

Ovation, does cost more, but it lengthens the hair so quickly, that it allows me to keep cutting my ends without 'missing' the extra growth. Because of this, all of my damaged hair from the past two years is finally gone and this is wonderful. This past 11 months of using Ovation is so well worth the extra cost of the product.

Using the Mega Tek for 6 months, has truly paid off for thickness and stronger hair.

You can't go wrong with either one.

Gotta be Ovation for me...it's a lot kinder on your hair (even if you try to apply just to your scalp, some will get on your strands)

are you supposed to apply ovation and then rinse, or is it like an oil? I ordered some and Im not sure how to use it.

Says apply to hair and scalp and massage then leave on for 1-2 hours or overnight then rinse out.

I chose OCT only because Im trying to get more length at the moment.

Well I am using OCT and I can definitely see a growth boost when I use it and also several ladies have said that MT gives you thickness than length and OCT is vice versa. So OCT gets my vote. It is so worth the $60

I am a Mega-Tekker all the way! I almost caved in and bought some OCT, but I held strong and Mega-Tek is helping me reach my goals ahead of schedule.

I apply it to my scalp 3-4x a week and leave it until I clean (poo or cw).
