I had a jar, read the ingredients list and it listed sorbitol towards the top, which is a humectant, so I'm thinking, cool, a good water based moisterizer...it soaked into my hair and made it oh so soft and stopped breakage on my ends...cool !
I purchased another jar...looks the same, noticed when i tried to use it to "moisterize" my dry ends, it remained hard, UNmoisterized and slick, and still hard, my ends didnt soften as usuall, it acted more like a SEALER than a moister agent. My ends where chipping off again
..so I checks the jar ingredients, it has MINERAL oil as the second ingredient...no wonder ! Mineral oil NEVER softens, it just sits on top of the hair with a slick feel and no moister enters the hair shaft....WTH is going on ???
...
Am I seeing things ? Or has anyone else noticed this ? The 2nd jar does nothing for my hair
