Is this stuff really worth the $5.18 it is priced at at Wal-mart?????????

I wanted to try this stuff, but that seems like a LOT of money, honey!

Who uses it and what have been your results????

I have it - it's okay - nothing to write home about.

I hear the jar is better though ... it is pretty pricey - it too me a long time to fork over the $5+ for that.

To me not anymore.
Either that or I got a bad batch. The first time I used it was wonderful a keeper even.:yep: But the next bottle I brought was watery and nothing like the first. :wallbash:

I use the ORS Olive Oil in a jar... I LOVE it!! It's worth every penny if you have dry hair.

Really?

I am currently using Hollywood Beauty Olive Cream and I really like that stuff and if it weren't for the parabean (or whatever) that it has in it, I wouldn't be shopping around...

My hair loves it! I use the ORS OO in a jar and I seal it with a tiny bit of castor oil. Works like a charm!:yep:

ETA: In some BSS' you can buy a tiny jar of ORS Olive Oil in the jar for like 2 or 3 dollars, if you just want to try it without committing the total amount a normal sized jar would cost.

I have both. I bought the jar first, put that mess under the counter. :nono: Went and got the lotion, and its okaaay. When my hair is uber dry it does work it out. Nothing to write home about.

i don't like the stuff in the bottle (hair lotion). leaves my hair feeling greasy and weighed down.

same with the stuff in the jar. i used to LOVE it for rollersets when i didn't know squat about hair... but i tried it recently and it felt too greasy.

You too? They must have changed the formula!

When I first started using it, it was thick! Then I bought a bottle that

was very watery and like you I thought I bought a bad batch. I then went

out and purchased another :wallbash: same thing WATERY. Since then I

no longer use it! :ohwell:

I soooo agree. But i first started out with the bottle, it was ok. Now i'm starting my lil sis off with the bottle too to see how she's gonna do.

If you're talking about the ORS Olive Oil lotion in the bottle, I must say that it has been heaven-sent  as far as I'm concerned.

I have natural, 3b/3c hair and I use ORS to moisturize my hair when worn curly and straight. The ladies say it "weighs the hair down," which is true, but that's only when you use a lot. I love the lotion because it is so rich that just a dime-size amount does the trick.

Girl, if you check out my fotki album you will see how silky smooth it gets my hair when I use it as a heat protectant. It also keeps my natural curls moisturized.

I don't care what nobody seyz, ORS ROCKS! :rocker:
