I am so tempted to try out this new hairrepair line, but I said I was going to stick with one line. Maybe I'll just try one little pack:look:

DON'T DO IT! The pack will have you hunting around your city like a addict. lol:lachen:I did:look:. Plus I can get two full dcs out of one package. I tried to stay out of this thread. I know yall sick of hearing how I love this line. I have the Moisturizing creme. I had protein overload earlier so I'm staying away from any type of protein at the moment. Plus this one smelled so much better than the antibreakage one.

The moisturizing one is thick and creamy and a tiny bit goes a long way. So far my braids look super shiny and they feel soft and well moisturized.

SerenavanderWoodsen - I copied this list from texasbeautysupplies.com. It's for the intense moisture version I'm using. It seems the anti-breakage doesn't have petro. The jars look identical.

Ingredients: aqua (water), C12-15 alkyl benzoate, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, petrolatum, cetearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, PEG-150 stearate, cetyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, PEG-20 hydrogenated lanolin, PEG-40 stearate, behentrimonium, methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, cyclomethicone, isopropyl palmitate, lactic acid, glycerin, propylene glycol, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, ammonium hydroxide, persea americana (avocado) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed keratin, green tea (camellia sinensis) extract, tocopheryl acetate, PPG-3 benzyl ether myristate, hydroxyethylcellulose, magnesium aluminum, silicate, DMDM dydantoin, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, disodium EDTA, BHT, Parfum (fragrance), Benzyl benzoate, geraniol, lilal, d-Limonene.

This would make sense. Is the anti breakage one off white/yellow? I always open the jars before I buy them I noticed one was white and one was a bit yellowish. I didn't bother to look deeper into it I just got the white one because it looked like the sample I had. I wonder which is better? Do they feel the same ?

leona2025 - I wondered how long it'd take!

taytay86 - Yes, the anti-breakage cream is pale yellow. I just bought it, so I'm going to experiment by using it on half of my hair and the moist version on the other half to see if either of them helps this small bout of breakage/shedding I'm going through.

the antii breakage one is horrible. i got dry crunchy and oily hair. i am going to try the moisturizing one

ORS was the best product line for my hair when I relaxed. It was the only line that kept my hair moisturized and reduced breakage. I got from NL to CBL in about 10 months which was unheard of because my hair NEVER retained length while I was relaxed before then. I might try the antibreakage formula. Hopefully I'll like it.

taytay86 - I discovered both versions are useful, depending on what your hair requires. My review:
1. Although the same fragrance is used for both, it's much stronger in the moist. version.
2. I immediately noticed a coated feeling with the moist version that's not present with the breakage version, so I can only assume it's the petro. However, the coated feeling was gone within an hour or so.
3. Both kept my hair equally moisturized all day with no need for re-application.

That said, I'll admit I didn't use them consistently for a full week the way I intended. I'm 11-weeks post and the creams were too thick to try to distribute through equally-thick hair lol. The consistency is similar to Elasta QP Olive Oil and Mango.

I probably won't repurchase them because I've decided to use NTM Silk Touch as my main daily moisturizer because I like the consistency, the fragrance isn't overwhelming, and it works!

i didn't like the moisture one either. i didn't like the smell and left my hair too oily as well. it did not leave my hair crispy like the anti breakage one though but it did not give me sufficient moisture. i am going back to using my staple vitale bounce and body.
