ORS Carrot Oil Creme

Has anyone ever used this product? Does it really help w/hair growth or reducing breakage.

I havent tried the Carrot Oil Creme.... but i love the ORS line. This is my favorite line, and in general their products tend to be really good. Very thick and creamy, with decent ingredients and pleasant fragrances.

But just taking a wild guess.... i am assuming this is a water-based moisturizer, correct? So it probably would be great in terms of curbing breakage (if you are using this nightly and also sealing with oils). So if anything, it will help you to "retain" length. Not sure about hair growth per se though.... i doubt it.

I have tried this product. I love the ORS line but not this creme. It made my hair hard, it left buildup, and it left my strands greasy.

I may have used too much but I did not like how this left my hair. Everyone is different so you may like this creme. The ingredients are great, but it didn't work well for my hair.

I've tried the carrot creme and just didn't like the smell of it. Results were ok, just not what I consider to be totally stellar.

Overuse can make your hair appear stringy and feel rather hard, so care should be taken when applying it.

here's what i posted on another forum, same topic:

"that stuff STINKS, imo (no offense to anyone who likes it) I just couldnt get past the smell and it started to give me a headace. i used the old formula so maybe the scent has changed. as far as what it did for my hair, i just remember it being too coating and greasy....my hair never absorbed it. Right now I'm using Organics carrot oil cream and it smells wonderful and it's not greasy at all. if the ORS doesn't work, give this stuff a try."

another thing to add about the Organics carrot oil cream is that since i've started using it regularly my hair is stronger AND my nails have grown a lot from the daily contact with it. they are also really really strong as well now.

I love the Carrot Oil cream. This is the only product that has continuosly helped curb my breakage and shedding. I really don't notice the smell everyone usually refers to. I used to use it about every other day and have never had problems with buildup or anything.

i have used it as well. i didn't like it at all. it just kinda sat there and i hated the way my hair felt. i put it on and couldn't wait to wash that sh*t outta my head because it gfelt like it was just gonna sit on my hair forever. the smell is not horrible but its not good either.

I use this when I am wearing my hair in a bun. It keeps my hair and ends moist all day long and I have never had a problem with build up either. I like it. I alternate between this and the olive oil cream.

I really like this, it's very moisturizing. The smell doesn't really bother me.
