Do you have a picture of this? What's it supposed to be used for?

A photo is on the ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR SITE. Looks like the Lock/Twist gel in consistency and color. Ouote" With the perfect blend of botanicals...... Moisturizes, shines and holds the hair. Ideal for smoothing the hair and holding down ponytails."

I really like the lock and twist gel much better than regular hair gel. I'll wait for more reviews before purchasing.

Finally used the Pudding. Gave my hair a lot of spirals when I did a twistout. My hair looked OK but some of my twists were a bit stuck together{I did use conditioner beneath the Pudding} as though I had done small twists instead of 7 big ones. I rinsed it out next day. I prefer the Lock/twist gel. Have not tried the sample of olive oil.

i love this stuff. it does NOT look like the lock and twist gel. the pudding actually looks like a pudding, think miss jessies or jane carter twist and lock. it gave my twists a soft hold which i loved. on wet hair it is perfect to set twists but when i used it on dry hair i didnt like the way my twists got that stuck together thing either. would i repurchase, yes. it is amazing.
now even though i have the ORS lock and twist gel i have never used it because i hate the texture. it reminds me of a thicker version of kccc and i hate that goopy feel.

Just picked up some of this yesterday. Last I used some amount on my dry hair and it is still moist today. Plus I can still comb through it. I may try doing it on a braid out this weekend. That will be the real test.I think it'll be a keeper for me.

I liked ORS Lock and Twist Gel when I wore finger coils all the time. However, that stuff has a super tight hold in comparison to the pudding.

I'm going to stop and get some of this today. Will let you know how it works out.

do you think this pudding could be used for wash and goes?

I used it this morning on my WNG and I like it. I used it the same way I used KCCC. I apply right in the shower and let drip dry... I don't even comb/brush my hair yet... no need to detangle either..

I'm newly natural.. so it's great for me.

Oh! the pic in my siggy is with KCCC not ORS pudding. I'll post a pic with the pudding today when I get home this evening.

I purchased this product last Friday and have been using it for my buns all week.

I can't determine whether or not it is moisturizing because I spritz my hair or co-wash it first, however it gives good hold without all the stiffness and flaking like some gel. It has a pleasant smell and dries rather quickly. It does not provide a lot of shine for those that like the wet look from some gels.

Overall, it is a great alternative to gel for my buns because I usually co-wash or spritz and gel can sometimes turn white and dry that way when hair is wet. For 11 oz I paid $6.99. This product will probably last about a month to a month and a half for me.

i just bought this product today before doing any research. Stupid me. I go so excited for some reason when i saw it and had to buy it. Im not sure how i should use it so wish me luck! Hopefully i'll have a positive review later. Fingers crossed.

Love this stuff. I use it for my braid outs, twists outs, and buns. I use shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie with it for moisture. The hold is on point for my hair (4b?) and it doesn't feel sticky or leave my hair crunchy.

I really like it too. It works best on my dry/damp natural 4b hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny but still holds well.
Sometimes I use this to twist a few two-strand twists in the front of my hair, leave it in for an 1 hour, and undo it for a some texture in my bangs or a hump in the front and it looks like I had it twisted over night! I didn't like it too much on my wet twist outs.

Exactly! I was really surprised the first time I used this because I didn't think it was stiff enough to tame my hair, but it's totally a fantastic product for ponytails and smooth updos without making hair dry and hard. Plus, it has a pleasant fragrance. I go through this stuff like crazy. LOVE it!!!!

I like it alot. It holds without leaving my hair hard.

I love it. I use it for twists/twist-outs and braid-outs, but I mostly use it for smoothing for puffs and buns. I've never gotten the "stick together" thing some have mentioned. I do find that if you use too much it's a bit icky. The second ingredient is coconut oil, which I hate, so I'm surprised I like it as much as I do.

I used this product on my wet/damp hair after a wash and then put my hair in chunky twists. It has a nice soft hold and it has a pleasant scent also. The only thing I had underneath was some spray leave in and castor oil. It's a keeper in my rotation.

Once you learn how to use it, it's great. It's best for smoothing down your hair for buns and ponytails. i didn't wear my hair like that very often, so I gave this product to my daughter. It made her ponytails sooooo shiny and moisturized. My hair laughed at this stuff.

thanks for the reviews and how-to's on usage...i have some of this and need to try it again bc I didn't think I liked it for some reason the first time. I think it left my hair a little tacky when I did wet twists and took them down for a twist out...I'll try it again, though

I bumped another thread for more reviews but this is more recent & answered some of my questions.
