Would this product qualify as a protein treatment. I read the label and it recommeded weekly conditioning. However ,I know we have concluded that too much protein makes the hair brittle. Anyone had any positive results with this product?

I would considered this a mild-moderate protein treatment. In my opinion, it's a good product. The reason why I stopped using it was because it was getting pricy and over time my hair became brittle. But this was when I didn't know you had to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner. Hope this helps.

I personally love this product and is my favorite deep conditioner. But because it's pricy, I don't use it often enough, though I would like to. My hair never felt dry or brittle afterwards, again maybe because I use this once every few months.

I used to use it often, It never made my hair brittle, but I would do the intensive treatment and mix it with an egg. I havent purchased it again lately though.

I didnt follow it up with a moisturizing conditioner.

Well for me I was using it weekly, and over time it kind of made my hair brittle. It wasn't that bad but it didn't like it, but the main reason why I didn't purchase it again was of the price. But this is strange since I will spend some change on certain conditioners *lol*.

I have used it weekly with great results when I was trying to grow back my bald spots and did not follow up with a moisturizing conditioner I used the shampoo with it also.
This conditioner has always provided great slip on my hair.
I found it for 4 bucks and bought 3 jars and have started back using it again.

The first time I used it I was like Ooh la la it was so incredible. Then ...the 2 time it literally matted my hair completely up at the back. I used a moisturising conditioner afterwards and it all went crazy. I was almost in tears trying to undo all those knots.

Obviously, I wouldn't buy it again but I think that the price is actually pretty reasonable!

I mix it with warm evoo, put on a shower cap and let sit about 30 minutes once a week. So far so good.

My buddy sent me this conditioner a while back and my hair loved it. But since MNT ceased my PJism, I won't buy it again. But it is a great mild protein treatment. Left my hair detangled and soft.
