Organic By Any Other Name Smells

Another example as to why it is important to read product labels and ingredient lists. I have heard this before about the Organix brand of products.

It's really a shame they're playing with the consumers minds with that name but if you look at the ingredients, you can see that there are little to no organic ingredients.

They've got cute packaging though. And their serums are very good heat protectants.

hannan... I love your siggy Mordecai is too cool!

I had heard about this b4 with Organix as well. I had used their Vanilla Silk conditioner in the past and i didnt realize that it wasn't really organic til i used it and looked at the ingredients. They also contain cones and sulfates.

Well just by reading the labels alone I knew there was nothing organic about it. So I'm not all that shocked. That coconut stuff is pretty darn good though.

Yeah. I wondered wtf was up when I first saw this on the shelves like 2 years ago. Tried a few things anyway but dont think my hair liked their sulfates and dimethicone.

The fake fragrances smell good tho.

well I am not throughing away my money not all that I have. the shampoo I have said it is sulfate free.

Yeah I knew Organix was fakey organic stuff that was probably like 3% organic . You have to read labels even on so called organic products, never trust a name. This goes for all types of products.

I realised by checking the ingredients that Organix wasn't actually Organic. However, most people don't bother to read the ingredients and if they did, wouldn't know what the terms listed mean. More needs to be done to prevent the companies taking advantage of this and undermining the efforts of those actually producing organic products.
