I need to give my hair some TLC today. I want to poo, hot oil, henna, moisturize. Any suggestions on the order of events? This is only my second henna. It is mixed with yogurt, by the way.

TIA ;)

Having never used henna I can't really answer. I've only done rinses and always on hair thats just washed.

I do hope someone gives you an answer though. I always check out the henna threads... dunno maybe one day I'll break down and get one.:)

I've never used henna either. However, I would imagine that you'd need to moisturize afterward. Maybe clean our hair first, henna, and then moisturize.

I henna on dry hair, sit with a plastic cap under a heated dryer for 1 hour, leave it on for another 6-8 hours, rinse twice with water, shampoo, condition, then deep condition with heat for 45-60 mins. That's it.

Thanks for the help, Carmeldiva! I'll take that suggestion. ;)
