Alright ya’ll, Imma put the pictures first because I ALWAYS skip right past all of the words to look at the hair. 
A year ago:

I don’t have an exact date for when I bc’d, because when I did it, I was just disgusted with my hair (due to health issues) and wanted it to die. So I cut it all off. It wasn’t until a few months later that I decided to start caring and began taking progress pics. I do know that when I first cut it, my hair aaaaalmost reached my shoulders when stretched. And I still have no clue what my hair type is. Sad.
I think 4b, but I’m not sure. Who knows? *shrug* One thing that I’m super happy about is reaching APL!
Now it’s smooth sailin’ from here cuz reaching APL is the debil.

I find it fascinating that my hair now is completely opposite of what it was when relaxed. When I was relaxed, my hair haaaated protein and needed to be combed daily. Now it can’t get enough protein and wants me to leave her alone and mind my own damn business.
I must admit that there are times when I miss the straight, flowing hair. But I used to LOVE when I got new growth and couldn’t keep my hands out of it. Now I have a head full of the stuff and I still love playing in it. 
My progress isn’t all extraordinary, so IDK if anyone would want my reggie, but I’ll post it anyway.
- Keep hair in flat twists and wear a half wig (La Jay
) when I leave the house
- Steam 1-2 times a week with a mix of conditioner, raw honey and either a ceramide or ayurvedic oil. Retwist after washing and leave it alone till next wash day
- GHE nightly
