[FONT="]So I mostly lurk and never made a thread about my hair before, however yesterday was exactly one year since by BC so I thought I would post about my progress.

[FONT="]I was natural for 18 years, until 2007 when I got my first Japanese thermal reconditioner. Prior to then, I flat ironed my hair several times a week which had resulted in heat damage & breakage, and I was never able to get beyond sl-apl in length. I continued getting the straighteners 2-3 times a year until my last one in January 2009. I stopped using heat in March 2009 and BCed on April 4, 2010 after 15 months of transitioning.
