I have one more question about henning. Do your shampoo before applying and does it have to be applied to dry or wet hair

TIA

I like to apply it to dry hair. I'm working with a lot of new growth right now and I don't want to manipulate the roots.

I've done both. I prefer applying dry.

I applied it on damp hair that I had just clarified. Next time, I'll do it on dry hair.

Do you ladies apply your henna on "clean" dry hair (no products)? This is something I'd like to try, maybe the morning after I wash. Although I think it would save time, I wonder what my results would be if I hennaed my hair 2 or 3 days post-shampoo.

I would like to know that alos

I apply on dirty hair. Didn't notice any difference between the two.

Cool, this will save me so much time next time I henna! I use so much oil & moisturizer between 'poos, I was worried it wouldn't "take", LOL:lol: .

I apply to freshly washed and detangled hair. I've tried it on dry/unwashed hair but the amount of tangles I have afterwards brings me to tears. LOL
