One dry spot on scalp?

What's the cause when you have 1 dry spot on your head, but the rest is fine? I'm posting this for someone else. She has sisterlocks, and she washes 1x/week and uses the sisterlock shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and the reconstructor once a month. (I couldn't find anything about what ingredients are in these, but she's been using them for years so I doubt that's it.)

The spot is dry/flaky. She's not sure if it's dandruff or not. How can she fix it?

Message it daily and keep it moisturized/oiled. Make sure she is distributing whatever products in her hair evenly. She might be putting to much product in one section and its drying it out in that area. Also tell her to pay extra attention to that spot. If starts burning for no reason or if she see's signs of it falling out in that area to go see a dermatologist right away.
