OKAY! I could be REALLY late on this one but...if you don't know, ya better ask somebody. Well, guess you won't cause I'm telling you but KINIKAKES has a blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.girlyhomewebzine.com/hairjournal/

Maybe she's too nice to make a post...maybe she already did...but if she didn't :busted: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww, thank you for starting this VERY sweet thread, lady! *hugs* :blush:

Yup, its actually my original Fokti hair album that i'm slooowly but surely converting over to my Typepad account. I pay an arm and a leg for that dern Typepad blog site, and have been wanting to do more/get more from it. In an effort to consolidate all my various blogs/sites across the net, i decided to combine Fokti with Typepad.

So........ it's pretty much all the same pics/information, but now in a new place! Thats why i didnt bother to make any major announcement. I figured since i was starting my progress pics back up again in July, now was the best time to move!!!! :) I didnt wanna go confusing folks in a few months! :yep:

Thanks for showing me that love, girl!!!!

Awww, thanks girls! Well there is PLENTY more where that comes from, as im working on a couple of hair articles and tutorials now!!!!

Yes, I have such a busy schedule but I try to check out her blog every couple of days or so... to make sure I stay in the loop of things:grin:

HA! I only found out about it when I saw your super non-descript signature. I love you, cause you're so modest. I am super excited about your blog and really happy you are continuing your journey.

Very nice blog Kinikakes! Well done. :):up:

One thing you mentioned I have a question about. It's about pin curling, which I love to do to maintain rollersets at night. You mentioned one can make the pin curl looser, "for a loose, wrapped look". I've always made my pin curls smaller but less of them. I would like to try this. How many loose pin curls do you make and does it really looked wrapped?

Sooooooo glad we found your blog, Kini! You are the one whose tutorial inspired me to henna, and I still use the formula that you use and it still ROCKS! Thanks, girl! :kiss:

Hey Isis, yeah, when im going for more of a wrapped/bumped look i take big chunks of hair and pincurl them in the same way, but not as tight. Normally my pin curls are done with a small section of hair, and wrapped tightly around one or two fingers, then pinned against the scalp. To achieve a look of big, soft waves i take larger sections of hair, wind it around maybe 4 fingers, then pin to my hair. I definitely have way fewer, perhaps around 9 or 10?

hey lady! well welcome to the fine-haired club! it is NOT easy, but it can be done. :) i love henna, and im gonna start again in the summer when i have even more free time on my hands! yeah, be sure to check out my henna album for details on what i do, to achieve color or simply to just achieve thickness.

Ummm...and why didn't you share? :lachen::lachen::lachen:
