okay so this morning while i was sleeping i had a dream that i permed my hair MYSELF (which would NEVER happen) and i was saying yeah this is the last time i'll EVER do it ipromise to my sister (sounded like a straight addict LOL).. then it started to burn:burning: and boy do i remember that feeling!! anyway i woke up, heart racing like oh my goodness what is goin on in my life to where i'm dreaming about relaxing my hair..:nono: and as i'm sitting there i realized where my install is the tightest, that's where the "burning relaxer" was... :rolleyes: isn't it cazy how your brain does that?? just thot i'd share.. anybody else have weird hair dreams??:spinning:
 
lol, i know what u saying....,. its like when i here my bf knocking at the door.. but i dont get up becuz i think the knocking is just a dream.... anyway

i had almost the same dream, but i had a dream i relax the back part of my head, and it burned so bad that i just rinsed and didnt do the top... lol i had relaxed back and natural top.... i was so relieved whn i woke up.
 
just the other day i had a dream that i flat ironed my natural hair and it was so uneven it was a mess.glad i woke up from that lol.

psshh honey thats reality for me!! my hair is so ridiculously uneven... i wanna cut it off and start over but i then again i dont :ohwell:
 
The night after I saw the movie "Good Hair", I dreamed that I relaxed my natural hair. I woke up crying :look:
 
I had a dream just this weekend or so. My hair was long and thick. It was butt length! And super thick.... like LynnieB's! lol. Oooooooooh do I wish lol.

One thing I laughed at was my hair being way too heavy. My neck was hurting as a result, so when I walked, I would carry my hair in my arms.... if that makes sense lol.

LOL I thought I was the only one! The other night I had a dream about my hair and my BFF. Sidenote: she is addicted to her weave! No joke, I've known her since 3rd grade and the last time I saw her real hair styled was elementary school! That was almost 10 years ago! Her hair is so damaged and she refuses to stop, but she will have the nerve to sideye my somewhat healthy SL hair. She always tells me "If you weren't my best friend I'd hate you" whenever I wear my hair down. :nono: :perplexed

Anyway to the dream: Earlier in the day we went to the mall and everyone was breaking their necks to get a good look at my healthy, thick, BSL natural hair:grin:. I was loving the attention but she was getting really jealous and wanted to leave early so we left. We went back to her house to watch House and soon I slowly drifted off to sleep. All of a sudden I started feeling a wet, cold, paste like substance touch my roots. I woke up and she had put perm all over my hair! She was cackling like a madwoman while I raced to the sink to quickly save my curls.

I don't know what ended up happening but I woke up sweating and had to touch my roots to make sure they were still curly (I'm transitioning) :lachen:
 
See I always have the opposite kind of dream. I'll dream that my hair is long, lush and just stunning and I always hope like the dickens that's it's real.

Sadly, when I wake up, the hair is gone... :violin:
 
Heyyyy gurl!

Okay so in real life my aunt had asked me if I had any relaxer she could use and of course I didnt have any so i said no.... then in my dream I actually found a random giant tub of Alter Ego Linange Shea butter Relaxer in my room and then I was gonna go tell her I found some in my dream...coincidentally I had just seen the thread about Linange shea butter relaxer on LHCF the day before...:rolleyes: yall had me dreaming that I had that shea butter relaxer!...:lachen: and I dont even relax! :lachen:

See now I feel left out.. I've never had a lucious long hair dream.. =( LoL..

I do wonder what that means though.. dreamin about perms and such

Hello too funny:lachen::lachen::lachen:! Things we dream. Hum _ I don't recall any hair dreams. I think after reading all your postings I will be having some tonight. I am relaxed, maybe I will dream my hair being cut off. Not funny huh! :nono::nono::nono:
 
Oh poor chile, thank goodness it was only a dream. I use to have those dreams when I was natural, haven't had them yet since I'm transitioning this time.
 
I have had two dreams of being relaxed and I didn't like either one of them.

You know what is odd though? I was relaxed almost more years than I have been natural and I never once had a dream about my relaxed hair being natural......Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
 
I have had some great hair dreams.

In the first one, I was gently pulling on my hair and it would get longer, kinda like that one doll back in the day!

In the others, I just had long, thick hair, only to wake up to my same knaps...oh, well! :grin:

Since we're talking about it, and I am taking my micros out, I'm sure to have a hair dream tonight!
