which one do you prefer?

i've seen so many different kinds and i dont know which one to get. there is the ORS in a jar, which im scarred to try because the one in the bottle made my hair dry and hard.
there is mane and tale, hollywood beauty which i wanted because its the cheapest but i didnt see it today. and there are many others.
some of them are kind of light and watery. i need something thick.
so what do you suggest.

I haven't tried ORS in the bottle, but I have a 2 oz. bottle of it. When I saw the sample/travel size I couldn't resist.

I used to use ORS Olive Oil in a jar before they changed their formula. When I used it the 1st 3 ingredients were water, horsetail extract, and extract of nettle.

Last week I bought a container of Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol moisturizer. A little goes a long way with this. I like it.

I tried the Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme. Maybe I got a bad batch or an old container...it was too thick - kind of hard. It mostly just sat on top of my hair. It looked like I had a few bits of dried glue or paste in my hair. Luckily I only bought a 1 oz. container. If you try it maybe you'll have better luck with it.

I just tried the hollywood beauty kind yesterday on my outrageously dry new growth, I'm curently in braids and I  it, I just stuck my finger in my hair when I read this thread and it's still soft and moisturized . Not greasy at all this is definately a keeper. It is very creamy and light and has a very faint fragrance. I would definately recommend this to others

I think the bottle and the jar are two different formulas. The bottles doesn't contain mineral oil but the jar does. And i love my ors olive oil in a jar with mineral oil and ALL! I tried a mane and tale moisturizer (not the olive oil) and i didn't like the way my hair felt afterwards. So that pretty much turned me off all together. And also Organics has an olive oil moisturizer, it did wonders for my cousins 3c hair but mines (4a) felt very dry and icky. Haven't tried hollywood beauty but remember reading somewhere that there products are kind of watery. But i find that alot of ladies love the carrot oil, though. But i've been using ors olive since the beginning of my hair journey and haven't suffered any ill effects or setbacks so i'm sticking to it. It's my staple moisturizer. So my advice is to experiment and see what works for you. Good luck.

ITA! I almost got the ORS but I compared the ingredients and liked the Hollywood Beauty better. I seal with EVOO and I love the results. My ends are always moisturized. Im relaxed, have colored ends, and use heat, so this is a hair saver.
