but recently ive started to notice that the skin is flaking at my hairline...but just in the middle...dead center!! its BUGGING me!!!!

thats usually a tough area for me, cuz its either dry cuz ive washed it with facial cleanser or greasy cuz i got a little happy with the product....

so, my question is....what can i do about this....theres no flaking anywhere else except this one spot in the front....is it enough that i should switch to a selsun blue type shampoo or is there something else i can do to make the madness end??

TIA!

yea go with a oil specific for dandruff....pine tar i read is good for it...and rosemary oil and i was wondering how good the sulfur 8 wash products were opposed to the stinky grease...i have had dandruff issues before but they r really tame this winter...but i notice flare ups in the front like u and around my hairline in general...i figure cuz they r more exposed to cold air and the spot in the front is where my permanent part is...

thanks for the suggestions ladies! i actually have tea tree oil at home, so i will try that first...and then move on to the purchasing :D

Have you changed or added products to your washings?

I used to get what I thought was dandruff after each washing. I forgot to use my leave-in, which was Headress and my flaking disappeared. If the problem is not product related...just ignore my post and do what the other ladies recommend :)

hmmmm, thats something to think about webby....ive been changing things up so often that i dont even know! at the next wash i will skip product and see what happens...thanks for the suggestion!

Have you decreased your water intake? Since it's colder and the air has less moisture, you might try a humidifier inside also...
Take care,
G

I used to KEEP flakes. Since I began to mainly CO wash and using Surge and the Motion Lotion oil, I haven't seen one flake.

When I used the Suave Pro Therappe poo, even though I diluted it, I instantly had flakes again. I am easy on the poo.
