Hey ladies...for all who don't know I originally cut my almost bra strap length hair off in Sept 03 to be natural only to get relaxed this May 19. [You can check out the before and after at public.fotki.com/lbellin . Any who I have been out of the "relaxed" loop for a while. Can you ladies catch me up on what most of you guys are doing to have healthy relaxed tresses :)

Since I have been relaxed for less than a week, I have just started to apply mtg. I plan on doing that about every other day. I plan on going to get my hair done on a weekly basis, staying far away from heat except to get a roller set. I only plan on getting it blown out when I get a touch up which I plan on getting every 4 to 6 months. I have a few questions...with the buns....how often are you guys putting the buns in your hair. I just created my first donut with the tube sock and knee hi [I am soooooo proud of myself]. But what I want to know is how often are you guys taking your hair down to put the bun in. Are you taking it down every day? Are you wearing it for the week? Also how often are you guys doing a co wash?

Any and all help you guys can extend to me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ya'll

I only do buns for 2-3 days at a time. Then I take them down, detangle, and do something else like flexirods or caruso curlers or a phony pony. I get very bored with one style.

I co wash 1 to 2x per week after 6 weeks post relaxer.
