i met this girl at the gym with natural hair and she had the most gorgeous, small, cute, bouncy, finger coils ive ever seen!!!!

she told me she just washes, conditions, and uses a little gel and twirls her whole head up! well, i just got finished with a Co wash, and i think im ready to go for it!!

ive got both gel (alcohol free) and pomade...which do you think i should use for this project??

and also, does anyone have any advice for me??

Gel is good to use, but I have found that believe it or not activator works best for this style. It makes the coils soft and not hard and cruncy. I wish I had a pic of my finger coils, but I usually get tons of compliments when I wear them. Happy twirling!

Try the gel. I tried to do finger coils with pomade and they didnt hold as long as the gel did.

@cocoa ~ im gonna use my woojee and my s curl no drip to moisturize and then get to twirling with a little gel for hold...is that too much product, do you think??
