This challenge was a great experience for me and I really got a chance to experiment with airdrying and low tension, low manipulation styles. I'm retaining length, so I will join the next 3 month hide your hair challenge. Honestly, I cheated several times, but wore my hair bunned about 90% of the time.
 
Great progress everyone! I noiced that alot of people have dark pictures and they are hard to see...or it just maybe my pc. i suggest that ya'll download Picasa by google. Its free and its a picture editing programs so you will be able to significantly brighten your pictures up. Or yall might have a picture editing program alread on your hardrive.
 
AMAAAAAZING PROGRESS!!!:yay: :notworthy Dedication and discipline is definitely key. It was a hard three months i must say. But I see for alot of u it has paid off. I just took out my braids (a disaster... but we'll see) I'll be getting my perm this Saturday @ 15 weeks post so i'll post pics then. Congrats ladies ;)
 
Congratulations ladies on the great progress! I'm so happy to see so much healthy hair and growth!

I was soo tempted to give up on the challenge part way through but remained true, I'm inspired to go on the next one for July! I'm currently 7 weeks post retouch and want to stretch 10-12 weeks. I'll probably do my reveal after the 23 of April!

So my hair doesn't show as much progress as I would have liked. I did trim it about a half an inch or a little more earlier in March. These pics are from the beginning of March when I touched up my hair. The very ends of my hair in the back are touching APL (which was my goal). I guess I just wished it looked longer. Either way I'm happy I'm about 3-4 inches from my bra-strap.

Awww, you made my day leleepop, so somebody did read my post when I vented, thank you and too answer your question, hayl ta da naw....she had the nerve to tell me that I should care about how my hair looks and that I should wear my hair down and be more professional:eek: because I'm the first person that enrolling students see when they come in to take their placement tests...so nope I'm not wearing my hair down to please her...Girl, this is a workstudy job, I get to do my homework and surf the net and make some chomp change....she can kiss where the sun don't shine:cool: because I'm on a mission...girl she has said a lot of other crazy stuff but LHCF prepared me well so I don't give a pluck what these outsiders says or thinks..I'm going to do me;) Thanks for remembering my vent..I preciate it...now back on topic:D

Rabia, I didn't really take too many pics since this was a short challenge december pics in my siggy was my starting point but I will open up the album in case anyone wants to see:)

Girl, when she said my hair will never be midback I just looked at her and smiled because yall taught me better than that;)
