everyone is talking about? Esp you natural ladies. I keep hearing about how this is soooooooo good, and the PJ in me wants to try it. But where do I find it????

Are you talking about Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel? If so, I purchased mine from the grocery store in the health section.

Which one? I found mine at Walmart and they are now selling it in a much larger container for the same price. I bought 4 of them.

I buy the food grade aloe vera gel from Puritan's Pride or Swanson's Health. I really like the Swanson's better. I use the gel on my scalp and add to my conditioner. I buy the juice from Trader Joes for my moisture spritz's and for daily intake. I bought a long stalk (from the plant) from Whole Foods that I cut up and infuse in water for a weekly rinse which gives me soft, strong, detangled hair. It was only $2.49 and will last awhile. I bought the stalk after I bought a plant from Home Depot because the plant was so puny; so I replanted it in a bigger pot and set it on the deck and it is growing and getting fat with aloe already. For some strange reason, the aloe vera from the skincare section like FOTE does not agree with my hair, so I use the food grade stuff.

I don't know if I remember hearing the name of which gel it actually was but the FOTE sounds familiar. Dang! How did I miss this? I always go to GNC and I live in Walmart!:lachen: thanks ladies.

Make sure u buy the one ur thinking of.

There is the GEL and there is the JUICE. Most use the JUICE for moisturizing and the GEL for twists or holding styles.

I luv the JUICE---mix it with glycerine and distilled water and it has been awesome

Good idea to get a product you can double on it's usage adw and thanks for letting us know that you get yours from Puritans Pride and Swanson's Health so I think I will check them out.

The AVG from Swanson's holds it gel-like consistency even when you shake it up and PP's doesn't, which is why I like it better. AV is my holy grail product. I have never used anything for more than three or four months straight, but I use AV every single day and it has been seven and a half months now. AV is something from which I will never move on...It is just too good and too versatile and just chock full of so many things that are good for your body and hair.
