i did it again unintentionally that is...

my hair looks very nice after i wash it and stuff but i didnt let my hair dry fuller and oh no.... was it annoying to work with.... it was just tangly and dry and hard and u can hear all the crinkles....

also i think i put too much leave in in my hair... would that make it hard too?

and also my hair was very fragile i didnt evne want to comb it.. now i just thought thats how wet relaxed hair is but i think imma do a protein treatment...

my hair look nice but imy rollerset didnt try right so i might run and do a quick rinse and do it over... i dunno...

any of you guys experienced this

I didn't understand what you DC'd with, but protein would NOT be what I'd use. If my hair were dry, crunchy and hard.....I'd moisturize 1st. Try the Pantene Relaxed/Natural DC treatment. HTH

oh i used jasons conditioner and keracare hydrating detangling shampoo.... the jasons did a good job of conditioning but not of detangling.. so u saying no protein.. but i think the reason it was dry and crunchy was cause i didnt dry properly... hmm

Krissy, have you bought a good detangling spray to use while combing? I like TRESSEME Detangler..find it at Family Dollar. Something about JASONs, it does not always mix with other products.

what leave in and or sealer did you use after washing? THen again, what are all of the products you used?

Yes it is possible that your hair not getting all the way dry could be at least a part of it. I had this problem until I got a new dryer. Even now, if I don't let my hair get all of the way dry, it won't feel right and will be tangly, because I have no lye relaxed ends. It is important to let the hair fully dry and I am mad impatient. If you use too much leave in it can cause a problem too.

ok used keracare detangling shampoo

some peppermint rinse

and jasons condtioner

vitale leave in

It sounds to me like the leave-in is not enough, and have you tried sealing with oil after leave-in? I am an airdryer and for me if I don't use a leave in and sealant my hair comes out less than moisturized. I use Giovanni direct sealed with Jojoba Oil.

Don't know about the others, but I know from experience that the shampoo leaves a residue of sorts that is not always compatible with some conditioners. IMO it really works best when followed with the keracare conditioners, just a thought.
