- I admit, I love products with silicones and mineral oil
- I admit, sometimes I choose shine over health
- I admit, I still don't know what the big deal is about mineral oil...even though I pretend to
---Sometimes I wish I'd never relaxed my hair after being natural for two years or so (I see afro puffs and I want one!)
---Sometimes I think I'll never want to go natural
---I am hair schizo and I want it ALL!
---I hardly every style my hair
---I need to start styling my hair
---Despite having a horrible touch up experience in November(which I'm STILL recovering from) relaxing my own hair is a pain and I'm considering trying to find a good stylist
---When I'm done touching up (just finished one and am doing a deep moisture treatment now) I realize its worth the hassle to save $60 or so dollars and not be afraid of someone jacking me.
i admit that i've gone back to using grease. I bought some 'ultra sheen gro natural'it has some good hair growing herbs like rosemary and nettle. so far my ends have been very happy. I think petroleum and mineral oil have gotten a bad rap...
that i don't know how to do a lot of the styles you all do
that i do still use my curling iron from time to time
that i still yank (OUCH) my hair out when I get frustrated w/it!
that i need to work on mastering a rollerset w/o giving up
that bb supergro grease is da bomb...and smells great!
that i'm still in denial about getting my trimmed when i see split ends
that I miss being natural a lot.
I'm not gonna big chop because of it though.
I love my hairbrush
I always use heat now
I use vaseline on all of my hair now not just my ends
I wash once a week
- I shampoo my hair till it squeaks.
- I secretly feel that my hair is superior to boring, damaged straighties
-edited to add: no one that's on this board. Nothing but beautiful hair here. I'm talkin about the haters who comment on my poof that I wouldn't trade hair for anything.
I admit-
-that I'm scared to do the big chop in order to go natural...
-that for years I have used and loved Vaseline on my hair and it actually helped my hair to grow.
I admit- that I bought an expensive flatiron, did my hair and returned it...3 times over.
(I don't want to get in the habit of using heat, so if i don't have one on hand...)
--i don't know what a texturizer is
--i didn't even own a bottle of shampoo before two weeks ago and now i am becoming a full-fledged pj
--i spent more money on hair products in the last two weeks than i have spent on food
--i am scared i cannot handle the daily co wash challenge i am starting in june
--the results of my airdrying made me wish i had a flat-iron (and i have not put direct heat on my hair in MANY YEARS)
