The sensitive scalp is a NO LYE relaxer (which I use) and you can customize the strength by the amount of activator.

The others are lye which don't require mixing.

Wow, I never knew you could customize strengths of no-lye relaxers.

Most professional/salon no lye relaxers can be customized. Affirm sensitive scalp is another one that comes to mind. Not all no lye relaxers are like this- box relaxers come in pre determined strengths.

So how do you customize the strength? Does more activator = stronger relaxer, or vice versa?

Hmmm... that is interesting :scratchch I never imagined you could customize the strength of professional no-lye relaxers. Guess that is why they are a lot pricier than their "box relaxer" counterparts. I usually add almond oil to my Mizani Rhelaxer (no-lye) to add to the conditioning benefit, but this customization via the activator sounds very interesting. Can you elaborate on exactly how the activator measurements would effect the strength? It seems like it would be the less activator, less strong right? because the rest of the creme is inactive?

That's what I was thinking.
