what's takin me so long to go ayurvedic! i need to know what to get and where to get it, how to prevent mishaps, all that good stuff. i know there's gotta be an "ayurveda for dummies" thread around here, so if you find it post it!
p.s.-i gotta use the least amount of stuff cause my job may or may not be about to do a big layoff-hours are already gettin slashed!:perplexed

p.p.s.-there's a lotta indian guys at my job(the company is owned by them) but i'm scared to ask where they get the stuff...they'll look at me crazy like "why you want to know??" lol

do i hafta get powders AND oils? cant i get one or the other? i need my stuff to be multipurpose

Candy_C sells ayurvedic hair care products on naturalhairsecrets.com. Her potions are alreay mixed. You can purchase the powders online, but I cant recall the name of the site. I'll try to find it.

i just came back from my search (yay it worked for me today!) and um... do you know of any other sites to buy from? i already have my reggie planned out just that quick, but...didn't see much good about ordering from candy c....:look:

another question, would rose petal and hibiscus powder help with the smell? i'm thinkin of makin that an infusion in coconut oil...

lol. Here's a good "ayurveda for dummies" thread. Candy C taught me everything I need to know! Good luck with it! Oh, and I would suggest the oils AND powders unless your hair doesn't like oils. If you don't want to ask about the indian stores i like www.theindianfoodstore.com and amazon.com. But i'm sure they would enjoy the fact that you're being culturally diverse when you pick hair care routines!

Try stinastina.ecrater.com

The prices are fantastic, expecially since your money is getting tighter. I just got an order from her today. Everything was packed securely and I am more than satisfied with my haul

I got 11 different items for a total of $49.45!!
