You know I got my relaxer last week. So all week long after exercising, I just either did a plain water rinse or a conditioner (Pantene, Sleek) rinse. Then I just put in a little bit of the Keracare Leave in and let it air dry. It was sooooo cute. My hair had a slight wave and I just pulled it up and put on my Phonytail (I love that expression).

OK, So Sat AM I did an EVO pre-treat and then went on th shampoo and condition (Pantene Sleek). Then I added a little Keracare. Guess what? A big old frizzy head of hair. I ended up re-wetting and using the ponytail method of drying.

What went wrong?

Don't you need to wrap the hair or put it in a bun for it to dry straight?

I used to find that if I let my relaxed hair airdry without manipulation it would frizz up and only a blow dry or flat iron would correct it.

Yes, I do need to wrap or bun it for it to be straight. But I wanted it to be wavy like it dried last week. I end up w/ it straight after I re-wet and did the ponytail method.

Maybe the shampoo was the culprit... I don't think the oil mixture would make your hair frizzy. The wrong shampoo can cause a lot of problems.
