Wew! I tried the honey in my conditioner last night. Oh my... I think my hair is in heaven. It is so soft and feel as smooth as satin. Here is what I put together:

1/2 cup of VO5 herbal conditioner (was old and last of the bottle)
2 TBS of honey
2 TBS of EVOO
1 drop of Rosemary oil

I warmed it in the microwave for about 8 sec
Dipped my ends in it 1st and made sure they were satturated.
Left it on for about 15 min (in plastic bag)
Rinsed, combed, braided wrapped the braids around my head put on a satin scarf and went to bed.

This is going to be my new Wed. night cond. wash!

You said it girl, honey and oil added to just about any conditioners improves it's softning and moisturizing effects 10 fold as far as I am concerned.

The honey conditioner only works for me if I wash my hair before useing it, and I HATE that b/c all I wanna to is CO wash my hair and gel it. I shampoo my hair everyday, is that bad for my hair?

If your hair is not responding well to everyday washes (conditioner or otherwise) stop. I tried doing that and I got a lot of broken hairs. Two times a week works best for me. Do you mix the honey and oil with your conditioner? You would only use 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey and olive oil each to 2-4 tablespoons of conditioners depending on how much hair you have. A 2 to 1 ratio for the conditioner to the honey/olive oil. Frankly I cannot just condition wash my hair. I personally don't think that works on your hair unless it is extra dry and even then you need to do a good old fashion shampoo for your hair because the conditioner washing will overtax your hair with too much product buildup.

I love the honey too!!! I've never added it to my conditioner though....just in pre-shampoo treatments. It does make a world of difference.

How often do you all use the honey, oil, conditioner ? Do you use this as a conditioner wash ? How long do you let it stay in your hair? Can you leave it in over-nite ?

Ok enough questions....
