Hit:
Darcy's botanicals Transitioning Cream (My hair screams," Yes! Yes! Yes!")
Pantene (yes, Pantene) Nature Fusion Moisturizing conditioner. Even though it has cones, they are very low down on the ingredient list and my hair does not feel dry with this. It moisturizes very well and smells so good.

Miss: Happy to say there are no misses to report!

I just tried a bunch of new stuff this wknd...

Hit...
Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade
Bee Mine Nourishing Tea and Peppermint Shampoo

Miss...
Oyin Honey Hemp conditioner (it felt good when I first put it on, but leaves like this sticky feeling behind, I assume its bc of the honey)

On the Fence...
Curl Junkie Banana/Hibiscus Conditioner
Bee Mine Luscious Balancing Creme (was OK, I think I could find something more moisturizing)
Bee Mine Curly Butter (I did like that it didn't make my hair crispy, but I need a little more hold)

MISSES

Hits- Knot today and castor oil as a moisturizer.
Mixing knot today with mbc as a conditioner/detangler.
Qhemets tea tree and grapeseed pomade.

Hits:
-Darcy's Botanicals Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream...This takes the cake as my go-to moisturizer. I dont even want to use my Bee Mine moisturizer anymore. Smells really good and its great as a leave-in and moisturizer.

-Darcy's Botanical Cherry Nectar Hair/Body Oil..Got this as a sample and I LOVE IT. It smells so good and I used I pushed my other oils to the side for this. It's light and gives shine and just SMELLS SO GOOD!

-Kenra Silkening Shine Gloss...Tried it to see what the fuss was about. SMELLS SO GOOD!!! And it does help the frizzies. I get frizzies when rollersetting and a squirt takes care of it right away. Went right back to Ulta and got the Large economy size b/c I like it that much.

-Sally's Hair One Jojaba Cleansing Conditioner...I stopped co-washing a LONG time ago when I realized my scalp was not getting clean. But I read many reviews saying this is a great detangler. At 7 weeks post, it MELTS out my hair like butter when I rinse it out. Also tingles too. Makes your scalp feel clean. I use a squirt of poo and a squirt of this to clean my hair/scalp and then use it as a conditioner. Works well as a leave-in too.

-Denman Brush...I bought another one cause I loved it so much. I use one for wash day and the other one for daily styling. It gets ALL the shed hair out. ALL OF IT.

MISS:
-Hydrathermal Naturals Leave-in..I think I've given this a Hit in the past but I used it the other day just to get rid of it and it sucks. Hair felt dry and its too thin. After using Darcy's Curl Cream, I got spoiled. Threw the rest in the trash.

Hits:

Komaza Shea butter lotion and Califia Moisturizing Cream, Koils by Nature Shealoe leave-in conditioner, Cantu shea butter leave-in

On the fence:

Oyin Handmade Whipped Pudding

@Imani, I felt the same way about the bolded. I am going to mix a 3tsp of AVG or KK Curling custard to 2tsp of it to create a twist holding cream for my daughters natural hair. I might use on my self to flatten my edges during a stretch. It works well on its own as a sealer because of all the butters and oils.

Hit Aubrey Oragnics Honeysuckle rose

New Stable DC, its far too thick tho.. I mix it with suave shea & butter almond (plus i want a little cones)

Miss

Lustrasilk Organic cholesterol (with argon oil) It was a hit awhile ago but i stopped because I think the product makes the hair a bit to oily/greasy. ... now its official.. its a miss.

Tresemme moisture rich now that I stocked up on even cheaper and better cheapies this can't compare

Aphogee 2 Min Recontructor followed by Silicon Mix Conditioner
CHI Pink Paddle Brush
Revisited Hit- Barry Fletcher Liquid Moisture Oil, works better than the Sally's Argan Oil,more silky, softer and moisturised. hair

HITS

Hairveda’s Almond Glaze. Very moisturizing and protective. Seals moisture in very well. Last for days. Root to tip, my hair loves it, but especially my ends!

Hairveda's Whipped Gelly. Just the right amount of hold for my twist-outs.

Detoxifying and exfoliating with rhassoul clay mixed with rose water (twice a month). I sit under the steamer for 30 minutes so that the clay does not harden. Rinse-out is a breeze and hair is left soft and clarified.

Hennaing 2 - 3 times a month (love using Karishma and adding add'l herbs.)
Steaming with henna (over and done with in 1 hr).
Co-washing henna out with beemineproducts.com's Avocado Cream Balanced Conditioner or shescentit.com's Avocado conditioner. I can't tell which one I like best. My hair feels so soft and luxurious afterwards!

Finger-combing.

brownbutterbeautyproducts.com's Mixed Greens. A miracle in a jar. Have gone through my yearly late-Summer, early-Fall excessive shedding period. And it DIDN'T HAPPEN! Of course, I also rinse with nettle and horsetail teas after EVERY wash. My hair is the thickest it's been since I was a child! And my scalp is soooo healthy!

MISS

I do have a "miss" but Imma give it one more try before I list it. It's a (GASP!) Qhemet product.

HITS

Yes to Carrots (It's right up there with AO HSR for me.)
Tucking ends (Keeps my ends from feeling crispy.)

MISSES

Sealing (Doesn't work for me. It's no where near as effective as tucking my ends.)
Bi-weekly shampooing (I thought the less manipulation the better, but the scratching is counter-productive!)

I don't know if sealing my ends works for me, either. Lately, I've just been spritzing a mixture of aloe vera juice & castor oil on my ends & they are behaving so much better than they usually do.

Does it work well on natural hair. Will it cause pressed ends to revert?
