I started using OCT 10 days ago. I put it on my scalp 4-5 days a week. And my scalp is so sore and tender. I was using it today and I cringed everytime I touched my scalp and parting it. So my question is, is that normal? And did other people experienced that?

Also I tried putting it on my length after washing and airdrying my hair 70%. My hair was hard literally. I had to wash it and shampoo my hair. It stayed like that for 3 days. Some poeople thought I was natural. So how do u guys who put it on ur length do it?

I apply mine to the scalp almost daily. When I do apply it to my length, I just add a step when I wash. After shampooing, I apply it and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes and rinse.
You should do a quick search on 'OCT' because there are a lot of good threads with a lot of information, suggestions for use, and feedback.
Good luck with it!! It has been working great for me!!! I use it along with Megatek.

A lot of ladies here have mentioned sore scalp associated with their use of OCT or Megatek. Try "cutting" the OCT with oil...that should make it easier on your scalp.

Also, you have to remember that there is a lot of protien in OCT. Make sure that when you use OCT on the length of your hair, that you are following up with a really rich moisturizing conditioner for at leat 30 mins.

I use the OCT per the directions on the bottle: I leave it in my hair for 1-2 hours after shampooing and ALWAYS follow it with a moisturizing deep conditioner for another couple of hours.

I use the entire Ovation line.

I use it as a treatment once a week - I follow the instructions (shampoo, apply Cell Therapy to scalp and hair, leave it on fo 2-3 hours or overnight, rinse using the Creme Rinse) and air dry. I don't even do additional conditioning.

My hair has done a complete turnaround and I've never had a problem. No shedding or hardness, nothing but great hair. :yep:
I've been using Ovation for over a year consistently (1x per week).

I am relaxed with thin/fine hair.

I apply OCT to my scalp and hair and I use a deep conditioner. I always moisturize and then seal with an oil. It must be pretty painful if you are cringing. Maybe 4-5 days is too much for your scalp.
